Hi there, welcome to my website! My name is Robert Ferguson, and my pronouns are he/him.
I live a three minute walk from Wood Street overground station which is one stop from Walthamstow Central.
I offer sessions on weekdays both in person and online.

How I Work
Starting counselling can seem daunting. You may be going through a period of loss or change, perhaps suffering from anxiety or depression.
Whatever you're going through, I intend to put you at ease by providing a safe, relaxed, and comfortable environment.
As a Humanistic practitioner I believe that creating a good therapeutic relationship is the best way to reach positive and ethical outcomes. Establishing an empathic, honest, and unconditionally accepting relationship is essential.
I believe in the dignity of every human being and acknowledge a persons responsibility for their actions, also that every individual can achieve healing, wholeness, and growth which is supported by the presence or absence of certain environmental factors.
I will whole heartedly welcome you, and as we journey together my task is to help you see your situation more clearly, find out how you're a part of it, and experiment with finding new ways to resolve your difficulty.

The fee is £70 per therapeutic hour (50 minutes)
I have a small number of concessionary spaces available for students, keyworkers, ex-service, and OAPs.
